Kayla Wieseckel, a student at Nova Southeastern University, Fort
Lauderdale, FL, was recently selected as the new Student Representative
on the 2013-2014 SVU Board of Directors. She is the 9th vascular
ultrasound student appointed to serve on the SVU Board since SVU started
this Board student representative program in 2005. In December 2012,
the SVU Board granted full voting rights to the SVU Board Student
Representative. As the student representative, Kayla will contribute
the vascular ultrasound student perspective on various Board meeting
discussions.
Kayla will attend the May 29th SVU Board of Directors Meeting prior to
the start of the 2013 SVU Annual Conference in San Francisco, CA, as
well as the December 2013 Board Meeting.
Kayla is pursuing her MHS degree in Vascular Sonography.
