RVT Staff Technologist

Location: Amarillo, TX

Seeking a full-time vascular technologist for our busy accredited Vein Clinic. Interested individuals need to be Registered Vascular Technologists (RVT) or registry eligible. We are seeking a highly motivated professional technologist to contribute and blend into our progressive vein department.

The technologist will be responsible for performing venous insufficiency and venous DVT exams and vein mapping for venous ablation procedures. The technologist will be working side-by-side with the physicians during the ablations, to assist with ultrasound guidance.

We are an IAC accredited lab. This position is Monday through Friday. No weekends. No Call. Paid holidays off. Competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities include:
  • Participates in patient/family teaching

RVT

Location: Eureka, CA

Seeking a Registered Vascular Technologist to join our team at North Coast Vascular Institute in Eureka, CA. Eureka is located on the far north coast of California, among the redwoods. Humboldt County is known for its love of the great outdoors – surfing, hiking, kayaking, wildlife watching – and eclectic population – kinetic sculpture race, art walks, local festivals, breweries and music.

The position is full-time, four 10-hour shifts per week. No weekends, no call. Benefits include medical and dental insurance, 401k, PTO and holidays. Exams performed: carotid, aorto-iliac, renal artery, upper and lower extremity arterials, upper and lower extremity venous exams (mapping, DVT and insufficiencies), hemodialysis follow-up and mapping, as well as in-office, ultrasound-guided fistulaplasties, EVLT and RF. Willing to train on in-office procedures.

Requirements: Current RVT. Graduates of a vascular ultrasound program with a minimum of one year of experience or non-vascular graduates with a minimum of five years of experience. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in all exam types.

Registered Vascular Sonographer

Location: Charleston, SC

 The Medical University of South Carolina is in need of a Registered Vascular Sonographer. This position performs non-invasive peripheral vascular testing to evaluate the hemodynamics of patients arterial, venous and/or cerebrovascular circulation by utilizing Doppler ultrasound, duplex imaging, exercise treadmill and sound spectrum analysis according to the policy and procedure manual of the Vascular Lab. Compiles reports to communicate test result to referring physicians by chart notation and/or oral report of preliminary findings. Transmits final evaluation. Graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular / Vascular ultrasound program /school or the equivalent vascular experience and certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
